During Women's History Month, Mama Ro (Rolanda Wilkins) an activist and advocate for women remembers the work of other Black women such as Kathryn Hall-Trujillo, creator of the Birthing Project and Judge Alice Lytle, an advocate and defender of the rights of women and children. The powerful impact of these women is a timely reminder to us of what is possible when we come together and work to eliminate racial disparities. Whether maternal mortality, judicial injustices, or saving our youth this episodes is a reminder of the strength, resilence and power of Black women to affect change.
